Cherished Children

Cherished Children began as Church of the Nazarene Nursery School in 1962 and ran out of the Mundelein Nazarene Church. During remodeling of the church the school was moved into the Lincoln School building. Miss Carol Sternal purchased it from the church while it was in the Lincoln School building in 1989 and renamed it Cherished Children Early Learning Center. In 1995, Cherished Children moved from the Lincoln School Building into its current location at 406 Washington Blvd. in Mundelein.

 

Today, Cherished Children continues to maintain a Christian atmosphere, teaching children about values and moral principals, while respecting and including children and parents of all faiths and backgrounds.
